Cora D. Tekach specializes in business immigration for major corporations and small businesses around the world, having focused exclusively on immigration law for over 18 years. She manages a practice of nonimmigrant visa classifications, PERM labor certification applications, and employment-based immigrant petitions. Additionally, Ms. Tekach has extensive experience representing families, international organization employees, individuals seeking naturalization, and individuals in removal proceedings. She also provides counsel on legislative and policy matters. Ms. Tekach was elected to Chair the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Washington, D.C. Chapter, and served as the Associate Director, Information and Liaison, at the AILA national office. Ms. Tekach is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Catholic University Columbus School of Law, and has been the editor of “The Immigration Act of 1990 Today,” a leading treatise on immigration and nationality law, since 1997. She regularly edits and authors publications, and is a frequent speaker on immigration issues, and has appeared as an expert on television, radio, and newsprint. She is fluent in Spanish, and is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer.
